Ready to Race

Hi, I am fairly new to Korea (9 months in), and I am looking to find some races to compete in. I've competed in 5ks, 10ks, and a half marathon, and now I am training for my first marathon! I have searched all over the web for races in Seoul, but I haven't been able to find many. Anyone know of a good website or just race days that are coming up? Also I would really love to find a running partner. I run about 3 or 4 days a week and usually run between 4-7 miles. Anybody interested? I live in Daechi, and there is a great running path down the road from me. Any feedback would be great! Thanks. Bye-Bye.

race is at the olympic stadium in jamshil, me and a friend from expatkorea.com (the anti-daves esl site) are running it they may still be taking entrants, here is the website:

i live in haebongchon and usually run around 9-10am or earlier with just with my ipod. sometimes I run from banpo bridge sometimes i go around samgakji, not sure what my schedule will be after this week. I'm done with finals on thurs and July 1 I head to Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand for about 4 weeks

Where is the 10k on Sunday? Is it too late to sign up for that? Thanks for the website. I will look through it with one of my Korean friends at work tomorrow. Where do you live? Do you have a running group/partner?

good to see somebody else who isnt quite ready for the longer races, I've done 2 5ks this spring and am doing the dokdo 10k on Sun. anyhow here is a good site for race info, its all in korean but its easy to navigate. there arent many races in july given the monsoon season but it does pick up in august.
