Running in Korea

.."JUST FOR THE FUN OF IT"..

Hey, anyone live in Daechi or Apgujeong?
I just moved back to Seoul a week ago and accidentally found the Daechi Sports Park on my Sunday morning run. I combed the internet couldn't find any information about nearby running routes/trails/tracks, etc. I just stumbled upon it. Just wanted to share my fortune! It's so far the best course I've found in Seoul (next to Yonsei University campus in Shinchon)... goes on for miles in all directions, lots of vegetation and routes, mostly bikers and walkers, has tennis and basketball courses, and a track. Best of all (for me!!) steep inclines and stairs.
Happy trails :)

There is a newly built track in Yonsei University.

If track workout is not your thing, there is a small mountain (Ahn San) north of the university. There are several run-able trails one of which can be started/ended near a Buddhist temple north east of the campus.

you can get to the han river from yonsei if you don't mind a little bit of traffic to get there.

The entire Yonsei campus is amazing. It's actually where I recaptured my passion for running! Tons of hills, vegetation, not many people or cars depending on what time of day you run. I've run both in the morning and evenings and every time it's been fantastic. I start by the East Gate where the International House is. If you love hills, you will love the Yonsei campus!!

I think that you live near me, because I happened upon the same amazing route! We should meet and go for a run some time. How far do you usually go?
